For 40 years, jewelry has been more than John’s profession—it has been a craft shared with his son, Jacob, and a way to care for the people who trust their stories to Blue Diamond Jewelers.
A craft discovered early
From a high school classroom to a lifelong calling.
John’s interest in jewelry began in a high school class. After graduation, a local jeweler was looking for someone honest, dependable, and willing to work hard. He saw those qualities in John, took him in, and taught him the trade as his apprentice.
That opportunity became a 40-year career built on patience, precision, and trust. Along the way, John practiced his craft in Arizona, Utah, and Texas—gaining experience that now serves every customer who walks through our door.

Jacob grew up watching his dad at the jeweler’s bench, seeing firsthand the care behind every repair and custom piece. Twenty years ago, he began working alongside John and carrying that same dedication forward.
Today, father and son combine decades of hands-on knowledge with a personal, straightforward approach. Whether the job is creating something new, restoring something treasured, or simply answering a question, the goal is always the same: do honest work and treat people well.
